Ask a Question

Hi.
I've done a page like this:
A grid with many items, every item has a title and a description.
So I've created a page for every title and made in the subtitle of the page the description of the previous page.

How I can set that page canonical? So SEO doesn't think that are duclicated text? Or, should I set that page canonical?

Thanks

Hi, Luigi,

Sorry for the delay (due to the weekend).

You can go to Page Settings ==> SEO ==> Advanced Settings, and set a canonical link for a page.

Hi.
I found that, it's my fault.

But I've got a problem in search console: it says that is missing URL in scheme.
Is this problem associated?

And another question about canonical:
I made a page like this:
A list of 9 elements, every element as an image, a title and a little description. Now I've created a page for every title, in that pages h1 is this title and h2 is description.

Do I need to set canonical?

Hi, Luigi,

it says that is missing URL in scheme.

Usually, this message disappears after adding canonical links for your pages in Page Settings. Try to set canonical links for every page and check if it is OK or not.

If a page can be accessed from several URLs, search engines can consider these URLs as completely different pages though they have the same content. The duplicating of pages harms search engine optimization. That is why canonical links exist.

But I don't understand why the url parameter in scheme.org is in every page different.
It should be the same, for example in sheme.org the url parameter shoud me "url": "https://mysite.it", isn't it?

Hello Luigi,

Please share the link to the published site in question, we will check.
Schema URL should use the canonical link specified under the Page Settings.
