Thanks for your feedback, we want to inform you that it's not a workaround, that's program logic that is based on principles of different programing language rules, so HTML files cant replace the project files. Also, please note that you always have an option to export your HTML with the project file so that you can edit your website at any time.

You could export your project as an HTML with included Project option (in that case it will be possible to edit your website in the future with Nicepage)
There is no possibility to include Project files instead of the HTML files export to your hosting.
