customize category in blog template (joomla)

Hello please, I need to customize the data/category/comment infos in the blog template (joomla)
Is it possible? How can I do?
I see now I can change font/color/ position but I' d like to change also, e.g. background color, size, .... just like i do with Containers. I also would like to move this infos over the post image.
Is it possible ? Thank you vary much for any suggestion

Hi Roberta,

I see now I can change font/color/ position but I' d like to change also, e.g. background color, size, .... just like i do with Containers.

You can add Container control and then put the metadata block into Container and then add Container fill color, etc.
Also, you can move metadata or Container with metadata all over the Section.
