Why should I publish to https://mysite.com.nicepage.io?

Hello

I was wondering why I get those messages of "Publish your site" to a https://mysite.com.nicepage.io domain?
I never saw those prompts before in the past and what is the use or benefit?
Why should I do that?

After publishing 5 sites in that way (i thought it couldn't do any harm) I get a prompt now that tells me I should upgrade from Business to the Ulimate NP-version...?? But in the past all the domains and site exports worked fine.

I'm looking forward to a clear answer.

Andries,

Please clarify, there is no obligation to publish to nicepage.io. You can switch to another option in the Publish and Export dialiog.

But if do publish to ' nicepage.io', what would be the benefit for me or my client? What are the advantages?
Or is there an online explanation?

You can host wherever you want.
Depending on which license you have, Nicepage includes hosting for a certain number of sites.

OK, if I understand you well: it is just an [extra] hosting option you offer, no more no les.
And in my Business subscription there is a maximum of five.

Business license includes 3 hosts.
If you have your own host, you can use that.

I will use my own host indeed.

Never dare to ask ;-)
Because it's somehow confusing every time I upload, publish and export a site and see it as the first choice:
can I hide or remove that option permanently so it won't show up again?

Hi Andries,

You cannot hide any export option. Just use the one you prefer, export the theme and upload it to your own hosting. Let us know if you have any issues about that.
