Importing pages from one site to another

In the desktop application you can export a page from one theme and then import it in another theme.

Just so I understand
So in my sites, I have site 1, site 2 and site 3
For example I want to export say an FAQ page in site 1 to site 3 and a services page in site 2 to site 3.

Can I go in to site 1, export the FAQ page directly to site 3 ?
or
Do I have to export it as a file to my desktop from site 1 and then open site 3 and import it back in that way?
If so that is a bit clunky, it would be good to do it all from within the desktop tool
