Ask a Question

HI....My old computer died and I have a new computer. I was able to copy off all of the old data files onto a backup drive :-) I can't run Nicepage on my old computer (it will not run), so that I can export the projects. As I said, I do have the data files but Not an exported ZIP file:-( How can I best import the old files into the new computer so I can continue working on this project? Did I mention I HATE getting New computer :-( Thanks for the help!!!!!!

I would put the NP files into the standard folder.
Documents\Nicepage\Site_######
Then point to the working folder in preferences, Documents\Nicepage
Then open the app and see if the site is in the dashboard.
Technically only Project files can be imported so you should have backed those up first. You might have them in the Documents\Nicepage\backups folder from the old system.

That seems to have worked :-) I had to upload all of the individual images and icons but the page is good to go. Now I just need to work on adding the Blog back in and should be all set. Thank you!!!!!

Glad it’s working.
Now export the updated Project file as a backup and save it online somewhere.
I typically only create html sites, and I check the box to include the Project file in the export so there’s a backup when I publish it online.
