Hi there
When i create a blank Nicepage site, it auto create; the home page, the about page, the contact page.

I then "stretch" the header so it's height is bigger. After i click on "add element". I choose then the option (Header and Menu). Just beside there is a menu, i then choose the element (Menu); then i drag-it into the header.

So what i have in the header if you have followed my steps. I have the menu (Home), (About), (Contact). And under it have put an other menu, that the menu indicate (Page1), (Page2), (Page3), (Page4).

What is the logic i want to do?

The menu show (Home), (About), (Contact).
I want when i click on (Home), i am on the "Home page".
So i then see also the menu showing (Page1), (Page2), (Page3), (Page4) into the header.

I dont want when i click on the menu where it is writen (About), i am logically on the "About Page".
(But) i still see the menu that show (Page1), (Page2), (Page3), (Page4).

The second single line menu into the same header, i dont want that it is shown on some pages.

I dont want to create a (Home), (About), (Contact) menu with a "sub-menu".
I dont want to create a (Home), (About), (Contact) mega-menu.

I would like that when i click like on (Home Page), that it make apear under the single line menu (Page1), (Page2), (Page3), (Page4). The menu (Page1), (Page2), (Page3), (Page4), can have into some "sub-pages" as wanted and like wanted.

If it is possible to do, what are each steps? So i can follow (what to click on, what to drag, where it is, etc.).

Thank's for your time.

Hi Sylvain,

There is no difference in designing for HTML or for CMS. The difference is in the export format and how the theme can be used on CMS. That is a CMS task and actually there is nothing special to do in Nicepage. Also you can sometimes change from one export type to another so it is not relevant to choose the export type when you start the design. So you simply design the theme keeping in mind what type of site do you want and then in the Export dialog you choose the export type.

I wonder how to change from HTML to Joomla CMS?. Because when i open Nicepage Desktop i see (Sites) and pages as: (Home/About/Contact). Is there some indicator that indicate to the users that they design for HTML or Joomla CMS? If there is not this indicator, then i mostly suggest for some new version; that you add at the top some QAT icons (Quick Access Toolbar). So the user can automaticly change from the design of HTML to Joomla CMS to Wordpress to VirtueMart to PHP Design and so On.

It could be nice at Nicepage Desktop "at start" the users can choose to design for a specific environment. Indicating also what can be "not done" and can be done in some environment like in HTML "cannot" do multiple personalized menu, but in Joomla CMS it can. Also the users could also have the possibility to change by designing the pages, what the design look in HTML or Wordpress or Joomla CMS or VirtueMart or PHP or something else.

It's just for helping you that i give you these indications.

Thanks for your time.

Hi Sylvain,

If you are creating the HTML theme, you cannot set the menu to be shown on a specific page only. But if you use for example Joomla CMS, then in the CMS options you can assign the second menu module to be shown only on the specific pages.
