Hello,

I made the offered update but after I could not save to html.

Now I made the downgrade what the software offered, still issue but now read-only site issue

Please help me to solve this.

Hello,

Nicepage informs all clients that an update is available. But please note that the license includes 1 year of free updates only. After this year expires you can install the update and use the update as a free user. Also, after each update Nicepage offer to backup the website that you're trying to open. Did you create a project backup? If you opened the website with the latest Nicepage version, you will not be able to open it with the previous version.

Olivia: So how do you resolve this issue as I'm facing the same one? As I didn't make a backup project prior at v6.03, are you saying I have to pay for the upgrade inorder to publish my site? If there is another way, please provide details on how to publish our sites please.

There was no solution for us but build the project again.
We made it but not in Nicepage...

Unfortunately, if there is no backup created with the previous version, the updated project cannot be downgraded. Because of this, we have added a function to create a backup copy before opening a project in the new version. We do not recommend disabling it and recommend creating backup copies. It is enabled by default. Looks like you disabled it manually. We also added a warning that the new update will work under the Free Starter Plan if 1 year of updates expires. We recommend to pay attention to all messages we display in the application. Both added features should help to avoid such problems.
