Ask a Question

I have a site i built using nicepage about a year ago. I'm trying to import it in a newer version of the software. For some reason I keep getting an error message. My assumption is that the original is so far off from the current build of your software. What is the best solution for importing and updating this site using your current build of the software?

Did you actually previously export and save a Project file?
If so, and it's not working, could you attach it here for support to take a look?
If you didn't save an actual Project file, those are the only files that can be imported.

This is the version running currently on the site less the modifications done in WP on the site.

I need to migrate this to a new webserver with the latest WP and Nice plugin. I currently already run Nice on the server now for a few other sites, but want to make modifications to this one before migrating.

Thanks for you help,

Emerson

Hello Emerson,

We had no problem to import your Theme+Pages version 3.15.3 into the latest WordPress, although there was a notification about the lower than plugin theme file.
You can proceed the import of this file to the new WordPress/latest plugin version if you don't have the site project file and update the theme version only afterwards.

Let us know if you require any additional assistance.

I uploaded a the file i'm trying to import. I also noticed that I can't install because it gave me an expired date error message. Are these all the same related issues?
Thanks for your timely response.

I keep getting the this message when i try uploading the theme into the latest Word Press with the latest Nicepage plugin in place, "The link you followed has expired."

Hi Herschel,

Usually this error means that some PHP limits on the server do not allow uploading the theme. The file may exceed the file size limit or execution time limit. Please contact your hosting provider and ask them to check what is blocking the upload.

I have a similar problem. I created a nice website a few years ago with nicepage. I have a folder I saved called Site_252632356 where my files are stored. I don't have the computer it was created on (wiped clean) and I don't have my old login details for the nicepage website. I have opened a new account with nicepage and would like to restore this project. The new interface asks for a zip file but it does not accept my project folder even if I compress it. Is there a way to restore this project please.

Copy that Site_######## folder into the Documents\Nicepage folder.
Close and reopen the Nicepage app.
Your site should be in the dashboard.
