Ask a Question

I would like to duplicate a Website Template I have designed with the Nicepage Windows Desktop App. I would like to create several different themes to present to a customer but without having to start from the beginning for every theme / template. Is this possible? Also, where is the individual website data saved while working with Nicepage Desktop?

If duplication of Website is not possible at this time, I would like to recommend it be added in a future version for the reason stated above. To have to start from the beginning for every template specific for a customer is unnecessary work.

Hi Michael,

Currently, Nicepage does not support site duplication, but we will add your request to our wishlist.

Also, where is the individual website data saved while working with Nicepage Desktop?

SItes' data is in the Project folder, set in Preferences.

Hi Michael,

Also you can simply export the theme as a Project and then import back and that will create the duplicated site.

Great, simple solution. This info should be told to all. Also it would be nice still to directly duplicate from Desktop App. Thanks for the reply.

Sound this to you efficient? :P
This should be already fundamentally added.. kinda strange that that is missing.

I agree this should be added ASAP, because:
1. saves a lot of time (ex. when I create websites for accountants they are very similar in structure and I only update
text, images and slogans)
2. is rather simple to implement (meaning that if you already have system for webpage, section etc. duplication implemented then it should rather be simple)
3. this would be a very nice addition for your end user (meaning US :) )

Also I belive it could be achieved manually in the meantime (mb something like exporting website and changing some values + import again ???). Please advise if you see this kind of half-measure possible.
