Nicepage Online is a separate hosting service which includes hosting for one website and Nicepage editor for editing this website. This is a stand-alone solution. And it does not support import/export.
Unfortunately, regular Nicepage licenses for Desktop application and CMS plugins do not include premium Nicepage Online hosting plans and we do not offer additional discounts for hosting.

But with Nicepage Desktop/CMS plugins you can create an unlimited number of websites and store the created websites on any hosting you like.
Please note that the website created in the Desktop application cannot be uploaded to Nicepage Online.

Do I have to choose between the joomla or the Wordpress version for the desktop version?

Regular Nicepage licenses (except free and Personal) include both Joomla and Wordpress. Nicepage Personal license includes WordPress only.

Ok and how does it work when you are adding new features? Do I have to redownload the program each time on my computer?

When the update comes out, the desktop application will notify you about that and propose to download the new version and install it.

So is it a program running on the desktop or is a plugin I need to install to all the WP sites I m making to be able to use the builder?

Desktop app allows creating Theme and Content, and export for WordPress, Joomla, HTML, or Project. The last you can lately import back to Nicepage Desktop. CMS Plugins allow to create and edit only content and have no export option.

Ok si it’s not a wp plugin but I can export sites I make with it in a wp format if I want?

Sure, if you use Nicepage Desktop you are able to export your Theme and/or Pages for WordPress. If you want to create/edit Pages in WordPress, not in Desktop app, then you will need Nicepage Plugin for WordPress.

When I use the desktop software to build site, is there a way I can show my designs to my customers before uploading to hosting?

Hi,

We don't know how you communicate with your customer. But for example, you can export the created website as Image and send it to your customer.

Why don’t you offer an option to host multiple sites on the same account for your online version for designers?

We cannot host for free all the sites that our users create. We have a separate hosting solution for the online editor.
So probably you could find any other way to share your project progress with your customers.

Unlimited pages is for one single website or unlimited websites?

Hi Audray,

You are talking about the hosting plan? That means the unlimited amount of pages in one site. The hosting plan is purchased per site. And note, that you can publish the site to the hosting only from the online editor. Online editor and desktop application are separate solutions and there is no option to share the projects between them. The hosting option should be used when you need to create a site and host it easily with no extra manipulations.
