bullet color reverting

I've set up a few bulleted lists, using one of the suggested icons. When I switch view (say, tablet to desktop), the color of these bullets reverts to the default color rather than staying the color I set it when I originally added the list on the desktop view. No matter how many times I correct it, all the changes of view after each correction result in the color of the bullets reverting to default. In the attached screenshot, I show the yellowish color I want the bullets to be, and the blue that is the default.
