Report a bug

Hi, this time i have similiar issue (previously chrome was loading site absolutely wrong but clearing cache data helped) with loading wordpress nicepage site. On messenger in-build browser some images are not loaded. They are shown just like white-bordered square with little icon inside. My client brought it to my attention. Domain is test.danielklesc.sk .
I attached two screenshots and exported nicepage project.

A bit of necro, but thank you, this finally fixed the issue I been having from the beginning with messenger app...So far the Nicepage team was unable to reproduce or to figure out this issue for me either!

Well, that wasn't a particullary good advice. I deleted messenger cache (usually it works as good as reinstalling app) but it didn't help. So i tried to google this issue thinking it might be more related to wordpress or hosting than nicepage.
And now i found out that that image problem was caused by http and https. For example my logo was "http://test.danielklesc.sk/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/zelene-logo.png" but my site was "https://test.danielklesc.sk/" so messenger app wasn't able to find that image becouse it was searching for image through https protocol but image was "on" http protocol.
So I disconnected my SSL certificate from my web. And now it works.
But of course SSL certificate and https protocol are there for a reason so the solution should be to change every image link from http to https. And that can be done by "Better Search Replace" wordpress plugin.
So I ran search and replace. I searched for "http://test.danielklesc.sk" and replaced all of them with "https://test.danielklesc.sk" so now I hope it will work.
This is where I found this solution: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/images-not-displaying-on-home-page-2/
Please don't make this thread private. It might help someone else who is facing this issue.

Update: I found out that the only thing that needed to be done was to install Really Simple SSL plugin. :D

I tried that and images are still shown as white-bordered rectangles. But I also tried opening that link on iPhone facebook messenger. And on iPhone it works for some reason.

Hi, Daniel,

OK, I tested with Facebook Messenger, and I still cannot see the issue. What if you try to delete and send the message with the URL again?

Hi, Daniel,

I checked this site on the Telegram built-in browser and didn't face this issue, all images were displayed well. Could you please specify a messenger with the issue so we could check?
