Ask a Question

When updating, a page in my web is blank in the app. A message said that it couldn't be found, but it's in the folder.
How do I get it back, and how do I make a simple update within a page without getting an all new folder structure with the whole website? I have multiple copies now which is annoying!

Cornelus,

There is no backward compatibility between online editors and applications, to keep them both actual, you export and import the projects.

No idea what you are talking about.
A page in the site i made in the desktop version is now blank, how do I get it back? The page is in the folder, but the program doesn't recognize it?
Where can I tell the program where to look for files? The program automatically comes up with the latest version, but doesn't tell where it gets that from. This the more anoying when every time I make a small update I need to export the whole site to HTML and the program automatically makes a new folder with all the files.

Hi Cornelus,

So you were working in the desktop application, updated some page and it became blank, right? Could you please remember what exact operation you have made?
Also try to look for the project backup. The backups folder path can be found under the Profile >> Preferences menu.

every time I make a small update I need to export the whole site to HTML and the program automatically makes a new folder with all the files.

There is no way to export an individual page, to update the HTL site on the server you need to upload the whole site folder.

Hella
