i will try to give you screen shots to see what is happening
didnt really know what i was doing when i downloaded
so it downloaded into Documents> library
I built 3 one page websites (IDS- nexusrewards - panda)

i built pages and downloaded most as zips in cbd/nxrglobal/phone-templates
would then unzip into cbd/nxrglobal/Nicepage

I would ftp folders to my servers
today I said to myself, "self why do you have all these folders - just keep the last version"
(you can see my first attempt took 18 attempts)
so i deleted the first 17 folders
or the first 6 for nexus rewards

But i think it saved them in documents
i did backups as well
So when i opened I got the error
because where its looking for whatever its looking for -- isnt there

First of all you caused the problem by moving working folders when you should have left everything in the default location.
It should be Documents\Nicepage\Site_#######

Under the profile settings, it should point to that folder.

I realized I caused the problem
I didnt know what nice page was pointing to
so i thought those were just old versions

i will try doing what you suggest
you weren't able to tell me which one to point at based on my screen shots? Site_#######
i was opening nicepage and all 3 would be there to choose from

The profile should point to the working folder.
Documents\Nicepage

Your Site_###### folders should be inside that folder.

These are the 3 olders in Documents
the only one in Nicepage folder is a backups folder with 3 zips
In Nicepage Templates is Site2 folder
in Nicepage_removed is Site_199879458

Maybe try restoring the 3 backups that you have.
I also attached a screenshot of my profile so you can see where the default folders point.

the backups gave me close to the latest version

so just to be clear
as i make these sites nicepage will pull from the Documents/Nicepage page folder

it uses those folders - correct?
i can have zipped folders created and put that output somewhere else
so if i have 18 versions
I can delete the ones from the zip
but leave the original in Documents/Nicepage

The working folders are the Site_##### folders in Documents\Nicepage. Leave them alone.

You can export the Project folders as backups and put them somewhere safe or do what I do.
When I export a site, I check the box to include the Project file. I upload everything to my host so I have a backup online.
