Error 500 when importing to wordpress

Hi,

I recently updated my website using my desktop version. When I tried to upload the changes to wordpress it gives me the following error.

Error occured: (status 500)
There has been a critical error on this website.

This website was functional this morning.

Could you please specify the exact actions for reproducing your issue? Does this error appear after installing the new theme or saving changes in the plugin? Any additional information will be appreciated.

By the way, the error 500 is a server-side error. Please also contact your hosting provider concerning your issue. Maybe there is something with the security settings of the server.
