Project file backups can be made with any version, including the Starter version.

Your Personal license should allow making and restoring backups. Please let me know what exact issue do you have?

The "import" function (the pull-down at the dashboard), which I see in the training videos and other material just does not show in my (PC-based) installation. There is nothing where it says "import", the nothing to click on. [Unfortunately, I cannot make a copy of the fly-out / pull down menu]

I'm not home right now so I can't post a screenshot, but if you go to MySites in the dashboard, there should be an import option at the top.

Yes, I have seen this. But this menu does not open on my installation.

You aren't seeing this?
