Ask a Question

What is the difference between the "Designer App Pack" and the "Web App with Hosting + Designer App Pack"? This language is really confusing and convoluted. We are business of about 30-50 people depending on the season. We offer a range of property management solutions. Which plan do you think best serves us? Currently, based on your comparison table, I am having trouble understanding the differences in any of the levels.

Thanks,
Sean

The Designer App is a Desktop app which will export built sites that you can create to upload to your own host.

The Web app with hosting includes the desktop and web apps, and also includes hosting for the sites.
You would need to look at the grid to determine how many sites could be hosted and what the cost would be.

Thanks, I'm still kind of confused and need more help.

We already own the domain capecleaning.com. We do not like the look of our current webpage so we want to make it look nice using your interface to achieve that. We have already paid are local web shop to host our domain for the next year.

What is the best option for me to purchase if i already own a domain and simply want to design on your app and push that design to our current domain?

Secondly, and separately, what would need to be done with out current domain host if we wanted to switch to have you host capecleaning.com instead?

Aside from the above questions, my end goal here is to figure out which plan is best for me to purchase.

Thanks,
Sean

If you already have a host, then the Designer App is the Desktop app you can use to create sites to upload to your current host.
If you want to use Nicepage as the host, you would get the Web app with hosting and create the site online, then point your domain (capecleaning.com) to the site, as long as you own the rights to the domain. If your current web shop/host owns the rights to the domain, you will probably have an issue getting the rights because they won't want to give them up (extortion in other words).

Great, thank you.

How much are the annual updates under the Designer App package? I see the license is for life but the updates are charged annually. What is an example of a recent update cost?

Thanks,
Sean

So how exactly is that a "lifetime" license if we have to buy a renewal of the license for 40% off the original price each year. That's just like buying it again at a discount each year...

It is a lifetime license.
You do not need to renew after the first year of included updates and bug fixes.
You can continue using the last version before the updates expire.
