Hi, Walter,

Did Nicepage from the start menu work well before? If yes, try to do the following: find the Nicepage app in the Users\user\AppData\Local\Programs\Nicepage folder, launch the Nicepage.exe file, upgrade the app, and replace the current copy from the start menu with the new. What result will you have?

Hi, Walter,

OK, please try to click on Nicepage.exe with the right mouse button, and select the Run as administrator option. Will the result be the same?

Hi, Walter,

Sorry for the delay (due to the weekend).

I suppose that you tried to open Nicepage from the start menu, but the shortcut was related to the path that does not exist anymore. In this case, you should go to the root of Nicepage (AppData/Local/Programs/Nicepage), find the Nicepage.exe file, and create a new shortcut. In order to update the app, simply start the Nicepage.exe file.

Let us know if you need our further help!

Yep....Nothing happens when I click the Icon on the Start Page. Went to the directory and tried to run the EXE. Got a permissions Error so I tried running as Administrator but got the same error?

Hi, Walter,

Do you mean that you have this error even after running the app as administrator?

OK, maybe this instruction will be useful for you (though it is for Windows 7, it can be applied to Windows 10 as well): https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/-windows-cannot-access-the-specified-device-path-or-file-error-when-you-try-to-install-update-or-start-a-program-or-file-46361133-47ed-6967-c13e-e75d3cc29657

Hi, Walter,

Before reinstalling the app, it is advisable to backup your Project folder (the Documents/Nicepage folder).

Documents\Nicepage.
Also, export the Project files for every site for backup.

I can get those directories. But as you noticed in the thread, Nicepage is Not working at all. It started to update then crashed and is giving error messages.

Do you have a Documents\Nicepage\backups folder? If so, keep that also. Your backups should be there.

Got them all backed up. Now, should I just do a normal uninstall or are there other things I should do also (ie. registry edits, etc.)?
