If this post is already on the Forums, I apologize. However, in my defense, I've seen nowhere to vfy if any post is already on the forum. I've sent this issue to Support, but not hearing anything. I've tried working on other issues while I'm waiting, but I'd really like to get on with it.

I've been doing Site Audits from several different companies, but I keep getting msgs about the Canonical Setting. So, let me first make sure I understand the best practices for that setting. I know its purpose is to eliminate confusion between subtly different URLs, but am I supposed to just put THE ONE URL in that I want Google to see and use, and is this the correct syntax:
rel = myproaudiogear.com/home

AND do I put a unique URL for every page. OR am I supposed to put ALL the possible URLs in that field so it knows which ones to look for that should point to myproaudiogear.com? Also, while I'm on that issue, IF myproaudiogear.com is the preferred URL, then how do I handle the 301 Redirects.

THANK YOU SOO MUCH AHMAD!!! That's all I wanted is SOME kind of guidance and/or hand-holding. That's what I paid y'all for. I'll get right back to you on what those changes produce. Thanks again.

Hi George,

In the Page Settings, add the relevant link to every page on your website. Check the image below.

Also, please confirm if you have all listed pages below on your website that you have on your dashboard in the Online Builder.

I'm using WooRank. I don't understand your last paragraph. I've changed the Title so the system likes it. But if you could PLEASE just simplify your explanation on my Canonical. Can you please simplify the suggestion in the screenshot "How to fix."? 1.) Is the "Absolute" URL they are referring to https://www.myproaudiogear.com? Is THAT the correct URL? 2.) If that's the correct URL, then do I use the following syntax in the Canonical? If so, why does NicePage keep giving me an error?

<link rel=“canonical” href=“https://www.myproaudiogear.com” />

Hi George,

On my Home page for the Title should I use the same syntax or myproaudiogear.com?

Just write the title (e.g. My title) you want without any links it doesn't affect your page name.

Where all those pages on your website that are shown in the screenshot? As we can see on your website menu only 3 menu items.

kafng.png

What service are you using for the audit?

Also setup on with your domain name registrar www access.
the link is https://www.myproaudiogear.com/ is not working

Unfortunately, in Online Builder setting up the 301 redirect it's not possible.

I did EXACTLY as you told me, and I'm still getting tons of errors. I've been working on this for 5-6 hours JUST TODAY! WHY isn't there a simple answer to this? Which freaking URL am I supposed to put in the Canonical field. I've tried at least 4 distinct URLs and that was before I found the correct syntax on 3-4 other sites, NO THANKS TO NICEPAGE!! The support here is really getting on my last nerve.

So, how DO I handle 301 Redirects? Can I even find the htaccess file? No matter what I do, every site audit keeps giving me errors on my 301 ReDirects. Further, you didn't tell me about the `` syntax. Would have helped significantly.

Thanks Ahmad. One question though. On my Home page for the Title should I use the same syntax, or myproaudiogear.com?
Thanks.

Hi George,

We apologize for the delay

Add your website address - https://myproaudiogear.com/ to the Page Settings>>SEO>>Canonical and check if the issue persists.

Regarding the 301 Redirects, unfortunately, this option in Nicepage is not available.
