Ask a Question

Hi,

I would like to know if I design a theme from Nicepage pro license, can i use them to load on my website which is CMS platform that allows my client to further customize the theme as per their interest? Clients won't be having access to the HTML/CSS code, they will only be able to host it online with their custom domain through my platform.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Hi,

I do not understand completely what you want to achieve. Nicepage allows the editing of the content in WP and Joomla CMSs using our plug-in for your clients. For that you can provide a client license to your user:
https://nicepage.com/doc/25536/client-licenses

Nicepage cannot work with any other custom CMS, we support only WP and Joomla.

Hi, Thanks for your quick reply.

I know that nicepage comes with CMS plug-in only for WP and Joomla.

I will try to explain as best as possible, with more details. I developed a platform to create e-commerce store like shopify (Obviously not exactly as powerful as that). For the moment, i offer my clients to choose the existing templates and load their products to start their store with their custom domain.

  1. Can I generate templates from Nicepage and add in my CMS to make it available for my users to use that as template for their e-commerce store? (I believe i will be able to export the code from nicepage in HTML and CSS for the templates i design here. I can change these static HTML e-commerce templates to fit in my CMS for dynamic products loading and so on).

  2. I would like to use the blocks and small components like product page, product details etc from Nicepage (If i export them as static html file, i can make these contents dynamic for my own CMS platform). Then I will be able to allow my users to change the CSS or HTML hierarchy directly through my CMS platform itself. Users will never be able to see the HTML/CSS code behind the theme.

And I will not be intending to use any pictures from the Nicepage, I will be taking only the HTML code and CSS to offer my clients for some pre-built themes to start with. Tell me which of the above two are possible. Please let me know if you need more clear information.

Thanks,
Kamalesh D.

Hi,

In this case you can use the exported code as you wish. If you are фидк to modify it so it works with your CMS, it is fine, yu can use it. But you cannot modify our plug-in to be used as the editor pug-in in your CMS, but all the templates and blocks can be used for your purposes.

Thanks for your support. I appreciate your help to clarify my questions.

Sure, I am never intend to touch on the plug-in from Nicepage.

All I want is just the templates and blocks as html and css code in exported form.

Thanks,
Kamalesh D.

Hi Kamalesh,

I'm just curious what CMS you are using? Is it developed by yourself or something I can buy out there?
I'm still looking for a flat file CMS or headless CMS (kind of that) where I can integrate the nicepage static HTML site or vise versa.
I tried some existing ones, but the tools that would work, lack a good user interface (not easy to use for my clients) and the CMS with enough power (e.g. custom data types, repeating elements) using their own template system and builder or are technically too complicated for me to integrate/combine with nicepage (I have some dev skills but originally be a UX/UI Website designer).

Would be nice to hear from you about how you mastered this challenge.
