Ask a Question

Hi, is there any way to avoid the scrollbar beside my screen during the navigation of my website?
Any trick or proceeding?
I mean i'm unable to calculate the right length of my page to avoid the scrollbar even if my page is composed by a header, an image and a footer.
Plese forgive my english.
Thank you

Hi, Fabio,

Thanks for being our customer!

Clarify please, do you want to remove the scrollbar from your website? If yes, please watch this page: https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_css_hide_scrollbars.asp
You can easily add a code to Site Settings ==> CSS.

If you mean something else, please let us know about it.

Note: As you can see it's just a "coming soon" onepage website until i finish the final one.

If the page is longer than the screen, you will get a scroll bar.
There is code you can add to eliminate it, but the scroll bar is an indication that there is more of the site at the bottom.

Thank you for your help Merlin, i understand that, but i'm wondering if there's a way to move the footer over the image?
In that case i surely avoid the scroll bar, i'm I right?
I think that during the page editing the 100vh guide apperas to determine the right lenght of the image, is'nt it?
Forgive my explanation, my english is a little rusty.

It would depend on the size of the page and the resolution of the monitor/screen.

Hi Fabio,

I see that you specify the Block height as 100vh. You can try two solutions:

  1. Hide Footer and place Group that looks like Footer at the bottom of the Block with an image.
  2. reduce the height of the Block with an image, set the image as the page background, and use the Stick Footer Down option, which is available on the right-side panel for Footer.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
