How to set individual social icons for each team member?

Ask a Question

Hi😊,

I would like to create a page about my team. I want to include individual social buttons under each team member. But not all of them are on facebook for example. So I would like to have a facebook button just on the ones that have facebook. Right now, when I create a block containing a list-item (one of these presets of the "about" presets), it deletes the facebook button at all members, not just at the one where I would like to exclude it.

Does anyone know a workaround for this?

Cheers,
Michael

Hi Michael,
Thank you for being our customer!

Sounds like you're using the Grid Repeater. Simply click on the icon >> click "Change Icon" from the Property Panel:

Or, you can use a regular Grid instead, then add the social media icons for each member alone:

Dear Lilioneta,

Thank you for your response. Yes, I am using the grid repeater. But my problem is, that I can't have different numbers of icons per cell. The repeater forces you to use the same number of icons in every cell of the grid.

My question now is if there is a workaround for this. For like benefitting of the layout functions of the gridrepeater without beeing forced to use the same number of icons in each cell of the grid. In my case there is one teammember with its name, a short description and his social buttons per cell. Now as all teammembers have an email-adress, but not all of them have a facebook account, some of them will have one, others will have two or more social buttons.

I was using the "social buttons"-element, not the icons-element, as I was thinking the social buttons-element would be treated as one element which in my layout needs to be centred, regardless whether there is one, two or even more diffrent buttons.

Kind regards,

Michael

Hi,

In this case please use the Grid control that allows to have all the different elements in each cell.
