I have not found a way to integrate the index.ico. I have copied the file into all directories that come into question. Unfortunately nothing works.

You can add a favicon in the Desktop application under the Site Settings >> General tab.
Nicepagу plugin for Joomla does not provide this option at this moment, but you can upload the file names as "favicon.ico" (exactly this name) to the Joomla root directory. It should be enough. But the file should have exactly favicon.ico name.
