Is it possible to design a template, publish it, and then sell it for WordPress?

Ask a Question

I would like to design a template and sell it on my website. In essence, people would be able to purchase the template I designed along with instructions on how to upload it to their WordPress site.

Is this possible? If so, how do I go about actually selling the template file?

Thanks

Hi,

You can sell the themes created in Nicepage. The restriction comes on the templates that do include the Stock images. The themes that contain the Stock images can be sold only to the individual customers, no reselling is allowed. Also you cannot sell the Community Design templates.

How can i differentiate between a "Community Design template" and a "non-Community Design template"?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

All the ready pages that you see on the application start and when adding a new page are our designs and cannot be used in the themes for resale. You can also find them here:

If we start with one of the themes provided by NicePage, and replace all of the images with our own. Would we then be able to sell that template? The reason I ask is that it would be virtually impossible to create a theme that the layout doesn't match one of the 5000 templates that you have provided.
