Hiding header and footer in Joomla 3

Hi,
I'm trying to hide the header and footer on a Joomla website but also displaying the facicon in the browser tab.

I'm experiencing the following:

When I create a website on the desktop, add the favicon in the page settings, selecting Hide Header and Hide Footer and exporting and upload the template and import all the content, I'm having the following result.
Result: The page template automatically is set to Nicepage header and footer. The page displays correctly but without the favicon in the browser tab.

  1. Changing the Page Template to Theme Template, I get the following result.
    Result: The favicon appears in the browser tab, but then also the header and footer display on the page, even while Hide Header and Hide Footer is selected.

There is no way I can hide the Header and the Footer with Theme Template

Hi Chris,

The option to hide Header on individual pages works with "Nicepage Header and Footer" only. The theme does not work with plugin settings. You can hide the Header on the Page Template, but it will be removed from all pages then.

The favicon option is not supported in the plugin yet. But we plan to implement this feature in the future. In the meantime, you can place the file named favicon.ico in the Joomla root directory. Nicepage pages will use this favicon automatically.
