Ask a Question

Please I am desperate. I have tried with all possible combinations of EXPORT to three established hosting companies, and no transfer group manage to park my Nicepage website on their files so that it is visible and editable. The versions they may make visible are all lacking colour and lacking over half of its images.

Now my only hope is to FTP, which today was suggested by the technical group at TDM. But I do not know what the Protocol should contain. I send a copy of the form you offer and ask you pleas to tell me what are the data that should go into the boxes, As I have written here did not work.

I transfer from my original site, where `i have always worked and where you still let me use gif files which you forbid at the other place.

Neither of the hosting companies are afraid of the sizes of the EXPORT and TDM has the eternal sign as the size limit of files to send to them.

Please, I stand in from of the situation to regard all my work on Nicepage as lost. They have begun to suggest that will have to start from scratch again with another software than Nicepage.

Until support arrives, have you tried exporting the site files to your system and uploading them using FileZilla?
This might work better than FTP.

FTP is never done over port 80, Port 90 is the public web address port. FTP is done by default over port 21

Your screenshot lists Nicepage as the host.
Your post implies that you are using your own host, so that might be the issue since you listed Nicepage.com, in addition to the port probably should be 21 as Ch3vr0n mentioned.
I would export your files and upload them to your host with FileZilla. That way you can see the folder structure and know for certain the files are where they're supposed to be.

Hi Lennart,

The "Host" field is where you want to send the files - a directory on the remote server.
You should use here the same data as with any other FTP client that you're using to upload files to the server. There is nothing related to the Nicepage server or Nicepage account.

Olivia
