Ask a Question

How many pages can we have in Nicepage, I wonder?

As we don't have the option to setup a dynamic product list / portfolio, I need to make approx. 120 subpages for different products.
What would be nice, is the option to put products into say 10 different folders / categories.

Is this doable in Nicepage?

Regards
John

Hi, John,

With the Ultimate license, you can have an unlimited number of pages in your Projects.

It is possible to put pages into page folders. In order to add a page to a folder, you should create a folder in your Project. You can add the folder by opening the page manager and clicking on the folder sign.

Thanks Paul. Tried it but found it not that logical to use, as it's not really a part of the page structure. Or maybe I just don't understand the concept :)

Hi John,

Folders are there so you can group the pages. You won't see the long list of pages in the panel and they may be grouped by the logical folder names.

Thanks Hella

Tried to work the folders out again, but still think they are confusing to work with. How f.i. do I link to a specific page in folder when I don't see the page in the menu structure? I know it's in beta, so maybe it will evolve over time to be more intuitive - as previous new things in Nicepage have done :)

Hi John,

Could you please explain in more details? When I try to add the menu item linking to some page, I see all pages from the folder in the list. So please explain step-by-step what we need to do to see the issue. Also a screenshot would be helpful.

Hi Hella,

Think I finally did succeed in using the folder feature. It works OK but it's just such a different way of working with sub-pages - something I haven't encountered in any other web-builder anyway - especially that FOLDERS are sort of hidden in the page and menu structure. Maybe it will evolve over time to be more intuitive - I hope :)

Another thing I'm not quite sure of: Are FOLDERS exported into Wordpress or is it just a feature for HTML sites?

Hi John,

This feature is for HTML websites. Nicepage pages in WordPress are equal to the native WordPress pages. They work the same way.
If you plan to export the website with a large number of pages to WordPress, please note that usually, web servers and databases have limitations related to the size of the uploaded projects. Therefore, it is recommended to manage a large number of pages directly in WordPress.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
