Ask a Question

Wordpress automatically creates 4 image sizes (big, small)when you upload an image to the library. The browser then selects the optimal image for the device's resolution type using the "srcset" tag. It selects a large image on a large monitor and a small image on a mobile. This contributes to the page load speed.
NicePage template always uses only one large image? Will you be able included in the next update?

Hi Hella
If this feature is not available in Nicepage, are you willing to help? The ,,srcset,, tag can be added to the template manually in the theme editor. If I will sent to you access to my Wordpress, you can do it for me with correct html code. I would only need to encode one image, and I will edit the next ones accordingly. Well thank you

Hi Robert,

Unfortunately, Nicepage does not provide the option to edit the HTML source of the Nicepage elements. Therefore, if you need to insert some custom HTML you can use HTML element only. Here, you can insert any code for image or any other HTML object.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.

I thought you could paste the code directly into my Wordpress via a theme editor that is part of Wordpress.

Hi Robert,

Theme editor allows editing theme files only. Nicepage pages are not the theme. They are saved in the database as the content. Therefore, with the theme editor, you can edit generated templates for Header/Footer and templates like Blog and Post.

Hi

Your last answer is : ,, Nicepage pages are not the theme. They are saved in the database as the content ,,

Does it have any disadvantages compared to the classic Wordpress Theme? (SEO, page loading speed, etc.)
Thank you
Robert

Hi Robert,

We do not see any disadvantages compared to any other themes. If you need to add SEO tags, you can do that in the theme using the https://nicepage.com/doc/166986/seo-settings inside your theme in the desktop application.
Also you can set SEO for each page (content) created with Nicepage. You can also specify the Social Share options:
