Nicepage Pages as Blog Pages

Good Day,
In Joomla, I am able to assign blog categories to NP generated pages. Those NP pages will then show up in the blog listings, just like Joomla generated articles do.

HOWEVER, these NP generated pages only show up in pages where I've set the navigation menu button to category: blog. When I set a blog post element within a regular NP page, the NP pages assigned a blog category DO NOT appear in the element.

Any reason behind this?

Everything is correct, the Blog Posts Element doesn't display other Nicepage pages, it can display only native Joomla articles. If you need to display Nicepage pages as blog posts, please use the Blog Template instead.
