Ask a Question

I have site created last year, now I need to change it, but I changed my Mac as well, and I didn't do backup unfortunately.
So right now I have big folder, without site.json file inside and I need to open this website for edition.

Are there any steps I should do in order to open it for editing?
When I open the index.html the website is opening fine.

Best wishes
Paweł

Hello Paweł,

You can only import project file into the application dashboard, the file must contain site.json file.
Unfortunately, we do not have an option to restore your local project files.
You can only re-create the project in the desktop application by copying the images and texts from the files HTML opened with the browser.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

You mean I have to open these sites with show source code and select all copy + paste into the Nicepage, is this what you suggest?
Of course I should copy the images as well?

Hi Paweł,

It will be better to copy each text and each image and insert them in the new project. So you need to recreate the project in the desktop application.
