Redownloaded NicePage, all sites are gone

I was having issues with a computer and needed to switch to a new computer.

I have redownloaded nicepage, but all of my websites that I had created are gone. Some of them were not published so I do not have the files elsewhere to upload. Are these sites just gone? I would have thought that they were housed in Nicepage, and when I redownloaded and signed it that I would have access to my sites.

All files are on your system with the Desktop version.
If you have access to your old system, you will need the Documents\Nicepage folder or Project files if you created any.
Otherwise, if you checked the box to include the Project files when you exported sites to upload, then you can import those Project files into your new installation.
As long as you have that old drive, you might be able to connect it to your new system using a USB cable and copy that folder over.

I am using a work laptop to do work, I was having issues so they took my laptop and reformatted it. So what I am understanding is that the sites that were not exported or published are lost?

Unless you uploaded the Project files with the exported sites you created before uploading them to the host.
Was that laptop ever backed up?
You might get lucky, even after formatting, with recovery software using a boot disk, but it's a long shot.
