Ask a Question

Two pages - one is what I had prior and the other is what I'm making with Nice Page. Problem is, both have things I would like to change and both have things I want to keep.

So, how do I keep the side widget when I publish a Nice page page?

How do I keep the resolution better in some of the different responsive views?

Here is the site and the old page link:

https://daowen.ca
https://wp.me/P2g8cQ-6x

I also have an SEO plug in that I'm not able to use when using Nice Page and I really need to have it working again.

Hi Douglas,

Sorry for the delay in answer.

So, how do I keep the side widget when I publish a Nice page page?

As I see, you are using WP. When you have the non-Nicepage theme with the widget area, you will need to open the Page (created with Nicepage) settings in WP and set the Nicepage Options >> Template >> Theme Template as on the screenshot below:

template-options.png

Let me know if that helps. In another case, please provide access to the site backend so we could review the settings.

How do I keep the resolution better in some of the different responsive views?

Could you please explain what resolution you want to have and on what responsive views? Or you have some specific issues with the images or other elements resizing? In this case provide some screenshots showing the problem.

I also have an SEO plug in that I'm not able to use when using Nice Page and I really need to have it working again.

Could you please tell what SEO plugin do you use and what exactly doesn't work?
Also, please note, that when creating a page with Nicepage you also have the Page Settings >> SEO tab where you can insert keywords for this page.

Resolved some of the issues reports.

I am using Yoast SEO which assists with SEO settings and key word compliance. It assists in making the site better. This plugin is what I am talking about, not the meta areas that are indicated above.

Hi Douglas,

Could you please let us know exactly what settings from this SEO plugin you cannot apply to the Nicepage page but you need them?

All of them.

The plugin allows you to pick a key phrase and reports to you while writing what to do to satisfy it.

Suggestion - Take a look at that plug in with Nice Page and you'll see what I mean.

Hi Douglas,

I have installed and tested Yoast SEO plugin. I tried it on Nicepage pages, it provides hints for seo improvement and allows to make suggested changes. Please, see the screenshot below:

If this is not the case, and there are some other features that don't work, please provide screenshots with the problem and detailed description.

Hi Elena,

I surmise this is shown after saving the nice page and going to the regular editor to review. If that is the case and the work around then I'm sure that is okay. I use the SEO while writing the posts and blogs so it is extra work to do that work around.

Is there any way to also use the plug-in for blog posting?

Why am I continually having to sign into the plug-in when I build a page?

Hi Douglas,

Is there any way to also use the plug-in for blog posting?

If you mean page creation, then inside Nicepage editor this plugin does not work, as Nicepage has its own SEO settings. You can use Nicepage built-in SEO settings and after a page is created, you can use your plugin to check SEO and make changes.
