shortcode

Actually I have a problem with just what you're saying. I do know what to do with shortcodes. I added a shortcode by clicking the PLUS SIGN on top >POSITION AND SHORTCODE > SHORTCODE and nothing worked. I tried various ways and couldnt get it to work. It should be simple and work but it didnt.

Its for a FORM made with a paid 123formBuilder.com account. I eventually had to add an HMTL block and change the code to make it work. Very frustrating and unnecessary since your shortcode control should have worked from the beginning.

It would be great to know what the issue is so next time I can do do it the way its supposed to work.

Thanks for your input. We'll consider your point. We do have detailed instructions for some areas in our documentation and for some simple issues we can provide such instructions as above. Like if the person is asking about inserting a shortcode, then probably he has worked with shortcodes before and opening the Add button on the top he would find the Shortcode control. In any case, when the question is not simple we provide the detailed instruction with the screenshots. And if the initial instruction is not enough we are glad to provide more precise step-by-step guide if needed. But it is not necessary all the time.
So please feel free to let us know what instructions you want to see more detailed.

Dear Support Team -

These forums are nice...but it would really help if YOU gave detailed instructions when people ask a specific question. You give GENERAL answers that do not explain anything. I have seen many questions that people have asked that I too - dont know about and you simply give a one word/ basic answer. What would help ALL USERS would be if you showed how things are actually done (showing the steps and where to find things) rather than just say a term or a word.

For example: this is your answer from another users question... "Make sure that you add a shortcode using the Shortcode control. " You really should SHOW people how to do it, not just say to use "Shortcode control". That does nothing for someone who may not even know what you mean by that.

If you would be VERY descriptive and actually show the steps FROM THE START - that would be more helpful for the end user and would definitely have less back and forth with messages/ further questions !

Simply click on the Preview option on the top right side of the nicepage Editor window.
Do you see product categories? You can attach a screenshot of what you see in Quick Preview.

Do you see product categories if you make a preview of the page? Nicepage editor does not render shortcodes.

You mean that you add some WooCommerce shortcode into the Nicepage content and it does not work? Make sure that you add a shortcode using the Shortcode control.
