Problems with the SEO setting "Title"

I would like to create an alternative title for each of my pages, which will later be displayed in the Google search.
To do this, I entered a corresponding page title under Title (SEO and Head / Page Settings / SEO). Unfortunately, this is not displayed in the page source text.
Do I have to pay attention to something or do I create an alternative page title elsewhere?

Hello Ralf,

You must be able to see your added page title on the website tab in the browser.
Please provide a link to your website with uploaded changes in SEO.

thank you very much for the feedback.
The problem is that I have assigned a separate title for each page separately on the page setting SEO. Unfortunately, in the page source under title only the name of the page appears, but not the entered page title.
Example: https://rikker-karriere.de/index.php/de/fach-und-fuehrungskraefte

Hello Ralf,

We have checked your site and there is no page description added, each page has a Title and your added description from the site settings:

To fill in the description for each page you need to fill in the SEO tab with Page Settings.
Please send here your desktop project so we could check.
