You can upgrade the license plan for the price difference only within one month after the purchase as the upgrade will extend the free updates period for one more year from the date you upgrade.
So as long as you continue to use the Pro version, the price for the upgrade to the Ultimate edition will rise, but you will also get free updates from the day you upgrade for the whole more year.
