Deleting Favicon

You can replace it with another image from your WordPress dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Site identity >> Site icon or replace it with the blank image.

Ahmad,

I tried Appearance >> Customize >> Site identity >> Site icon or replace it with the blank image.It deleted my header icon all together. Thankfully I was able to restore everything from a recent backup.

Is there any other way besides Appearance > Customize etc, to input a favicon?? Without effecting the header logo icon?

If worse comes to worse, I will follow that delete link you provided.

Have a look at the picture below. This is what I meant.

However, if this option doesn't work for you. Just paste the favicon.ico file into your root folder public_html on your hosting.
