Hello Rob,
Articles created with Nicepage can be added as usual - Menu-Menu Items -select the article from the list.
Menu modules should be assigned too to be visible on your Nicepage page:
Joomla modules can be placed on the page created with Extension only in the content part. For this, you need to add a corresponding position.

If you need to add a position to the Header/Footer or as a Sidebar for Blog and Post Templates, you would need to add a position with the Nicepage Application, more info here:
