Not a button as such but when I click on a link that would open a page I have created it opens it in the editor so I can easily edit that page.

Or just having access to other pages while you're working on them? Because you have one-click access to your pages in the left column.
but if I am editing a page and there is a link "Home" on the top of the page and I want to just click that "Home" (only 1 click) whilst in the editor and it take me to the editor version of the "home" page.
It would also be useful if pages being worked on could be tabbed, just like open pages in chrome, I could then just 1 click backwards and forwards to the pages I am currently editing

It's not that simple, because typically, when you change pages, there's underlying processes going on, like saving changes.
It's not as easy as just changing tabs like in a browser.
