Problems with woocommerce shop products list template

Hi,

Under theme customization -> woocommerce -> product catalogue, I'm trying to have:

• show categories under shop page display
• show subcategories under category display

But this doesn't work.

I always have the products shown for the currently selected category.

In twenty twenty-one theme it works fine.

This is very important to aid the customers to navigate in our shop.

Can you please help with this?
