Does NP Builder or WP plugin need to setup/create a child theme?

Hi, NP Team! Wish a good day and all be good for all of you.

I´m rebuilding a website and I´m going to use NP WP plugin, but creating the whole website into NP Desktop Builder... and suddenly the question came to my mind: Should I setup/create a child theme for my main NP Theme in case any update could cause a disaster messing with all my settings and other installed plugins?

What you recommend? Should I or may have no worries about that?

Hi, Luis,

If you need to update your WordPress theme created with Nicepage, you can simply export it from Nicepage and install it to WordPress. Please refer to this instruction: https://nicepage.com/doc/67768/export-and-update-of-wp-theme-from-app

Usually, changing a theme in WordPress doesn't affect the settings and plugins in your admin panel. It means that you can easily switch and update themes.
