Instead of just for a slider, there needs to be a video carousel with similar functions like the photo carousels. If you try to put video in a photo carousel. the thumbnail Images in that carousel do not display. You cannot change the thumbnail images in a carousel or label them the way you can with images. For pictures it will work perfectly but for video it will not. Here is what is should be able to do:

Without a unique thumbnail or unique text for each video, there is no way to preview or know what the videos are about. This needs to be an added feature for the video carousels in Nicepage!

What is the status of a video carousel where you can create your own thumbnail or text for each individual video in the carousel?

Hello Artist Relations,

You can add a video to the Carousel element, then add text to it from the Property Panel, and select Show Text On Hover, for example. However, there's no possibility to create a thumbnail.

Is there a way to disable "Video starts automatically" in the carousels? This is because videos that starts automatically are not allowed to play sound in HTML.

Hi,

Video in the Gallery Carousel is displayed as a background video. Background video does not have the option to disable autoplay or show controls to start the video manually. It works like any other background video.

Hi,

I recommend that you consider the use of the Slider element. Here you can place Video as an element. Please do not stretch it to cover the whole slider. This will convert it to a background video. If you're using Video as an element, you can disable autoplay and enable sound.
