When I design the page and preview in all browsers locally the page looks great. When I export in Html it looks terrible. It almost looks like the css file is not working correctly. First image shows the preview.

The second image shows the way the file looks when browsing locally from the folder or uploading to the site.

Hi John,

When you exported the theme and pages as HTML, you got the folder with the HTML site. So please make sure that you have uploaded all files from this folder on your server.

Hi John,

I've checked your website in Chrome and Firefox and I see that the layout look the same in both browsers. But images are missing. They return 404 error:
https://johndoesocial.com.au/images/Untitled-3.png

Most probably these images are missing from the /images folder on the server. I recommend that you upload the problem website again to the empty folder on the server and then compare all files and images with the exported folder. It is possible that you lost some files or parts of files during uploading to the server.

Hey Olivia,

Bit unusual, not sure why its not working on my firefox or my mobile iOS Safari.

Heres a comparison.
This one is Chrome

<img class data-src alt src>

And here is what it looks like in firefox

<img class data-src alt src>

And this is what shown on mobile iOS Safari

<img class data-src alt src>

Didn't expect such inconsistency, concerned how clients may view the page due to these issues.

Hi John,

The website look ok on my side in FF except for missing images:

firefox-2.png

Please check the images folder on the server and compare it with the images folder in the exported website that looks ok in the browser.

In your case this could some link of caching issue.

Hey Olivia,
Appreciate the response didn't realize the cache file could affect the visuals so much and I guess changing theme will do it.
So I've added some code in the header of my HTML

  <meta http-equiv=“Pragma” content=”no-cache”>
  <meta http-equiv=“Expires” content=”-1″>
  <meta http-equiv=“CACHE-CONTROL” content=”NO-CACHE”>

Hopeful that it'll prevent the website from causing those graphical issues in the future.
Thanks for the active response! Been a solid experience so far.
