See what happens here, I have an old joomla site. so I thought of redesigning my homepage. so I installed Nicepage Plugin. When it got installed. i started your first tour of nicepage. after the tour it seems like nicepage has applied its Menu and my old menu got lost. when I tried preview my homepage then it is showing 404 component not found error. I checked all my articles are present.

I am attaching the snapshot of error.

Thanks, we see the issue on your website - http://travellerstoursandsafaris.com/

Try the following
1. Open the configuration.php file lying in your hosting directory
2. Search for string var $sef
3. Change its value from previous var $sef = '1'; to var $sef = '0';
4. Try now and let us know if it works for you.

If it's doesn't help, we would advise you to contact your hosting support to resolve the 404 error.

Thank you for understanding.

You can find the file Configuration.php in your hosting directory, from your hosting CPanel >> file manager, or through FTP by using any of the FTP clients (so you will need ftp details for this, yes)

If you are a newbie, we advise you strongly to contact your hosting customer support.

Thank you
