Two (or more) HTML blocks on one page.

Ask a Question

I have two pages on one site that require two HTML elements showing two seperate progress bars. The first bar should show progress of number of applications and the second one progress of amount of investment. The page correctly shows the amount for each element, but the code for the %age progress is showing the same %age for both elements, instead of 50% for the first and 30% for the second.

How do I accomodate this?

Hi Chris,

Probably your scripts are conflicting with each other, I may also assume that it uses the same variable for the bar value and that makes it show the same %. Please check your script once again.

Thanks Hella
I have managed to identify and correct the error.

I do have a suggestion though, that Nicepage could try and incorporate.

could you implement some form of feature allowing configuration of two (or more) HTML elements (such as Progress Bars) on the same page, where this confusion could occur? This additional level would provide the configuration of features such as colour, shape, size of the progress bars, but leaving the actual value to be set in each of the elements.

I am willing to chat with your developers if they want.

It was that with installing two HTML element items, the configuration of the second progress bar overrode the configuration of the first one. With a view to simplifying configuration for users who may not be totally savvy about CSS rules, it could help to "automate" the configuration somewhat.
