Ask a Question

How can i use the same menu in different locations. On the home page i do not want to show the default header. On other pages the default header is visible. I do want to keep the same menu on the home page (top block) as well as in the header section of other pages. Do i just name them both hmenu, does not work?

Also, drag and drop in nicepage editor does not work always. Sometimes the item being dragged just disappears.

Hi, Scott,

If you design your Header with Menu on Nicepage Desktop and import it to Joomla, this Header will be applied to all pages. For this, the "Theme Header and Footer" or "Theme Template" options should be activated (it is only for Nicepage pages). However, the Header can also be made or edited on the Nicepage plugin. In this case, it is possible to activate the "Nicepage Header and Footer" option. For example, if you imported your Template and started creating pages on the plugin, you can edit your Header with Menu, and Footer. If the "Nicepage Header and Footer" option is activated, the edited on the plugin Header will be displayed.

Please note that articles that were created on Joomla will always display the Theme Template, with its Header, Footer, etc.

Concerning the second issue, could you please reproduce and record it? It will help us to understand your issue better.

Hi Scott,

Just a follow up so using the suggestion above you do not need to create a home page without a header, just design the new header with the same menu using the same hmenu position name in it. Use the Nicepage Header and Footer option for the Home page only and that will create an effect of the different header on one page.
