Ask a Question

My images look normal in desktop view. But, when I'm in tablet view (on down to phone) the images are huge and will not let me resize them. It's as if they are locked.

I've tried grabbing from the corner and rescaling it but all it does is allow me to change the image horizontally. It wont 'let me rescale vertically. Not sure what is going on.

I've provided some images so you can see what I"m talking about.

Any ideas?

Hi Chris,

Could you please export your theme as a project and attach it to the ticket.

There it is. When you switch to tablet mode (all the way down to phone) it wont' allow me to resize the image.

There's the height dimensions that it will not allow me to edit (either dragging the image or change the values manually).

Other than that, I really like NicePage. I'm starting to get the hang of it. I would like some more control over the drop-down menus (like changing the position of the text inside the drop down box and being able to adjust the menu box width and location - things like that.

It can be tricky trying to adjust the images. Try (in desktop mode) clicking the image's "collapse/expand icon (see Image) Then go to responsive modes and adjust the image for each mode.

Hi Chris,

Nice to hear that the issue is fixed. You can edit almost each setting of the element for each responsive mode separately to achieve the desired look.

Hi John,

You can choose any size of the image. Probably it should be the size that you want to see on the desktop view. Then set the image Fit option to Cover or Contain depending on what you want to see. After that switch to all the responsive views in the application and resize the image container if needed.

Hello,

this image resize option, that the Nice Page program automatically changes and resizes the image sizes in every other device version its still not working.

I thinks that should be a standard in 2023. Can you please fix or develop your program in this way?

I think the option, that we can change and customize self the sizes of every images for every device it schoud be only an option for us.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have other 2 observation:

  1. If you edit the size of the pictures in an other device mode, like in a smarthone or tablet, than the program will change automatically the size of the pictures in other devices too, for example in desktop mode. I think here its a bug, because this change, which we do at a tablet mode should be active only for this device and this change of the size of pictures shoudn't generate any other changes by the same pics in other device mode.

  2. The responsive mode should be also developed forward for the size of titels.

If we have a titel with 30 pixel in a desktop mode, that shouldnt remain twith he same size in a tablet or mobile device mode.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Chris,

The image is resized automatically if you add it as a background image and when it is a static image, then you need to edit the size in each responsive view. The same is for the text size. You need to go step-by-step from large device to the smallest. If edits of the phone devices edit the view of the desktop view, then please create a separate ticket with your project and some screenshots showing the issue so we could check it out.
