Ask a Question

Is there a means (yet) of exporting a Nicepage site back to the desktop application?

I feel that this could (should) be a useful function.

Alternatively, there should be a means of exporting the same to a sub-domain so that further development can be performed without interfering with the production website.

As far as I know, there are 2 things that can be imported.
1. Exported Project file, which should be mandatory.
2. Site_###### working folder which is in the Documents\Nicepage folder by default.

As far as your second issue, you can just copy the online hosted site folder to a backup location either online or download to your computer.

Hi Chris,

There is no possibility to export the content from the live site back to Nicepage desktop application.

Alternatively, there should be a means of exporting the same to a sub-domain so that further development can be performed without interfering with the production website

I assume that you can use the CMS tools for transferring the site from one domain to another.

I have been working on a website design using your online builder until I acquired a license to install the windows desktop application. May I kindly request for the specific procedure on how I can download my online work to the windows desktop application. Thank you.

I am trying to do the same, but cannot see any option to export project file from online app.

Look at the screenshot. Just press the export button and press on Project tab, then export.

If there's something else, please let us know and attach some screenshots for further clarification.
