Ask a Question

Hi guys!

Good idea to include the Social Sharing Tab in page settings BUT

  • No image data box available (although it appears in the 3.18 release blog posts)
  • And all the og labels that I had in pages in previous releases where have they gone? (they are still in the html file but I don´t see them in the meta tag section!!

Thanks for your support.

Hello Elena,

As for image data box - we are still working on it.
og labels should be already added to the code and no need to add again. Please share the link to the page so we could check.

Thank you.

Thanks for your answer. The tags are in the code, but I have to edit the html files if I want to check or change anything, can´t see the info in the new Page properties, nor in the Social Share tab nor in the Html tab.

www.museonary.es is my web page. Do you need anything else?

Hello Elena,

Please specify do you mean that with previous projects you do not see those OG tags in the editor that Nicepage generates automatically?

In previous versions of nicepage I included the og tags in the page properties, html tab, meta tags box of each page.

The og tags previously included are maintained in the html files generated by the newest version of nicepage, but they don´t appear now in the graphical interface of nicepage (page properties, html tab, met tags box), so can´t be edited in the graphical interface.

Is it clearer now?

Hi Elena,

Please export the problem theme as a Project and explain on what exact page we can see OG tags in the code but where they are missing in the Page Properties.

The project is too big to be attached. Try with this link:

Most pages have og tags, you can try with Georgia or Picasso for instance

Hello Elena,

Thank you for the project link, we had successfully downloaded and tested it.
Your previous og tags are already in the page code, yes.
They don´t appear now in the graphical interface of nicepage (page properties, html tab, met tags box), yes, as they are already included but can be successfully edited. If you need to change your social og tags just simply add the new image, title, description, the tags would be automatically generated into the code and the new one (saved with the new social share tab) will not disappear after saving after click Done.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks Anna, I saw in 3.19 already the image already included. And I already modified all the tags in my files... for next time, please try to keep backwards compatibility also in the graphical interface :-) thanks!
