Hi,

I wanted to try to edit the Open Graph data for your website on the Social Share Tab of the Page Settings.
but it doesn't show the image field as per the attached screenshot.

I read the documentation on the update page, I believe it doesn't answer all questions raised by many

if I fill all fields in the new social share section, will this replace wring the code in the HTML meta tags, as I usually do it manually

Hi, Omar,

Yes, indeed, the Image field is missing from our software. We will solve this issue soon. Thanks for your notice.

As for the OG tags, if you insert them manually under the Theme >> Settings >> HTML tab they will be duplicating those that you have set under the Social tab. So basically we do not check what meta tags were inserted manually and do not replace them with those inserted as the social tags. I mean that you need to check them manually in order not to have duplicated tags.

Nicepage just updated, and to 3.18.2, thought the problem was fixed, but unfortunately no, the image tab is still missing

Looking at the new 3.23 and the "Social Settings Tab" (under Page Settings) is entirely gone.
Where is it now?

Hi,

Keriko, if you use the CMS (Joomla or WordPress) plugin, then yes, there is no Social Share tab but we're planning to add it in one of the next Nicepage versions.

Now at the latest version 4.2.5 and it looks like the Social Share Settings under page settings is still missing. Any plans? Or a suggestion for a solution to control the image beeing shared i.e. to Facebook?

This tab was added in Nicepage 3.28 version and I see it in the latest 4.2.5 version in Nicepage plugin Editors in WP and Joomla.
Please create a private case https://nicepage.com/Forum/Topic/Create and provide temporary access to the admin panel.
We will check the problem on your end.
